We have a new look: a small look into our journey

Welcome to our new website! We appreciate your patience as while you navigate the new site, you might find a few things:

  • Broken Links
  • Funny looking pages
  • Outdated / repeated photos
  • Some slow loading times

Thank you so much for bearing with us as you explore!

About the website redesign, and the person that did it:

This past year, we welcomed our Digital Intern, Alexa Tarrayo, to our team. What started off as an internship focused on the project of revamping PeerNetBC’s website and online presence became much more than that. We celebrate the end of Alexa’s internship with a creative and beautiful new website redesign, branding that better reflects PeerNetBC, and her stepping into the position of Communications and Media Lead!

Aside from the website and new branding, Alexa played an integral role in facilitating PeerNetBC’s journey to a new website. Through interactive presentations and exercises, Alexa took the feedback of “bringing PeerNetBC to the digital world” to heart. Her presentations allowed the team to collaborate on the future look and feel of PeerNetBC’s communications, answering questions like: what are PeerNetBC values, who is our audience, and how can we better learn from them while they learn from us?

Looking forward, it is exciting to finally have a designated communications person on our team! Beyond fulfilling her projects, Alexa’s presence on the team is a fresh foray into “the online realm” in addition to her thoughtful perspective and background in technology, design, and transformative justice. Be on the lookout for Alexa flexing her favourite skill of visual communication and working with print in the future!
