Although we are gathering in a digital space, we would like to humbly acknowledge that our organization predominantly does our work on the stolen and unceded homelands and territories of sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xwməθ kwəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations.
We also recognize the displacement of Indigenous people in their own lands and that our work and gathering of people across the province is taking place on many unnamed traditional, unceded and homelands of Indigenous peoples across what is otherwise called British Columbia.

Workshop 1: C(r)apitalism
Saturday, April 17. 3 – 5 pm
Capitalism is the economic system we live within – but what does that actually mean? This workshop will explore the ways in which this economic system affects us, as young people, particularly in regards to competition. Why do we feel like we have to compete with our peers, and where does this feeling stem from? What are the consequences of competition — how does it impact our lives – and what alternatives can we shift toward?
Workshop 2: Anti-Oppression 101
Saturday, April 24. 3 – 5 pm
What is oppression? What does it mean to be a settler on stolen land? Is “antifa,” “SJW,” or “Karen” an insult? Is “reverse racism” real? This workshop aims to create a safe, respectful space to explore these questions and build our understanding of the roots of discrimination, how and why it happens, and what it has to do with ourselves in the world today. Join us in this powerful, rising movement initiated by women of colour as we work together to contribute to their unfolding legacy.
